About me
I was born in Santiago of Chile where I received my B.A. in psychology from the University of Chile, working under the supervision of Dr. Betancourt (RIP) and later Dr. Laborda. My undergraduate dissertation explored behavioral techniques to reduce relapse of alcohol tolerance in rats.
I moved to Braga, Portugal to work with Dr. Machado and Dr. Vasconcelos at the University of Minho. My PhD dissertation focus on the role of different levels of information in decision-making in pigeons.
After that (and in the middle of the pandemic) I moved to Los Angeles, California to work with Dr. Blaisdell and Dr. Izquierdo in the psychology department at UCLA, where I studied the neural and behavioral basis of role of information in decision-making and causal reasoning.
I joined the psychology department at Reed on August 2024.
In my free time, I enjoy cooking international food and baking sweets to share!
I also like traveling, hiking, playing boardgames, and RPGs.
